The Armored Group Introduces the First Armored Land Cruiser 300 VR7 Built in Lebanon

The Armored Group has officially introduced the first Armored Toyota Land Cruiser 300 VR7 built in Lebanon, marking a significant milestone for both the company and the regional armoring industry. Designed, engineered, and manufactured at The Armored Group’s Lebanon facility, this vehicle reflects a new standard of protection, performance, and operational readiness. The introduction of the Land Cruiser 300 VR7 reinforces The Armored Group’s commitment to delivering globally recognised protection levels through regional manufacturing capabilities.

Proven Protection Through Extensive Testing

The Armored Land Cruiser 300 VR7 has undergone rigorous ballistic and blast testing to ensure the highest level of protection. The vehicle successfully withstood:

•          500+ ballistic rounds

•          9 high-impact blast tests

•          Zero penetration

These results demonstrate the integrity of the vehicle’s armoring, confirming its ability to perform in high-threat environments where reliability is critical. Further validation was conducted through independent testing in Germany, reinforcing the platform’s durability and consistent performance under extreme conditions.

Engineered for Performance and Reliability

Beyond protection, the Land Cruiser 300 VR7 is designed to maintain the original performance characteristics of the platform while integrating advanced armoring technologies.

Key features include:

•          Engine options: 3.5L V6 Twin Turbo

•          Transmission: Automatic

•          Seating capacity: Up to five passengers with a spacious cargo area

The vehicle is built to support a wide range of operational requirements, ensuring both mobility and comfort are not compromised.

What is a VPAM certification?

VPAM is one of the world’s most reputable armored vehicle testing standards, developed in Germany, designed to rigorously evaluate protection through controlled ballistic and blast testing under extreme real-world conditions.

It ensures armored vehicles meet strict performance and safety benchmarks for reliability in critical missions.

Enhanced Systems for Demanding Environments

To ensure performance in challenging conditions, the vehicle is equipped with:

•          Upgraded suspension systems for improved load handling and stability

•          Advanced braking systems with ventilated discs for enhanced stopping power

•          Run-flat inserts on all wheels, allowing continued mobility after tyre damage

With a wheelbase of approximately 2,850 mm and a reinforced structural design, the vehicle offers both durability and control across varied terrains.
